This laptop cajon is great for either a simple, acoustic setup or as a centerpiece for a stripped-down/percussion kit.
If you’re here, you probably have a decent idea of what this is and what you’re looking for. But, as far as my experience with this has gone, it’s been great. Pickup really does well, and the sounds you can get are very strong. I’ve got a bit of a gut, so this was a much more comfortable playing setup for me than traditional cajons. Felt much more like playing a djembe, which was a “best of both worlds” type of thing for me and my playing style.
Great piece of gear! Hate to let it go, but money… haha.
