The X73 is Vintech Audio's flagship preamp, a direct clone of the classic Neve 1073 channel. What sets the X73 apart from the X73i is that the X73 includes dedicated transformers for both mic and line inputs, 3) Carnhill style inductors, extended high frequency EQ choices over the original Neve unit, custom concentric knobs and switches to control the EQ section along with custom machined aluminum knobs, Swiss made ELMA input gain 22 position switch which has 10 more dB than the X73i at its highest input setting. All switch connections are hand wired to the circuit board with no PCB mounted switches or pots which means that with proper care and routine maintenance this unit will last for ages.

Each Unit Includes:

• Class-A output amplifier
• One rack space 16-gauge, all-steel Chassis
• Marinair LO1166 style output transformer (wound in-house)
• Marinair LI10468 style microphone input transformer (wound in-house)
• Marinair LI31267 style line input transformer (wound in-house)
• Swiss ELMA gain switch, hand-wired. Handles both mic and line amplification duties
• Electroswitch custom concentric rotary switches
• Rear Neutrik XLR in (Line & Mic), and Balanced XLR/TRS outs
• 1/4" direct instrument input, requires unbalanced cables only
• Output level control: fully variable from unity to -inf
• 10khz - 16khz Hi Shelf with 18dB of boost/cut
• 360hz - 10khz Peaking Mid-band with 18dB of boost/cut
• 35hz - 220hz Low Shelf with 18dB of boost/cut
• 50hz - 220hz High Pass filter @ 12 db/oct
• Polarity invert switch
• Phantom Power
• EQ in/out switch
• 1200 ohm input impedance
