4/4 size Handmade in Germany 1906. Several repaired cracks in top, but structurally sound. No separation of top or back to sides. No separation at neck joint. The tone is superb, loud, round, and warm. Back sides and neck are maple. The top appears to be spruce. Ebony fingerboard. The Ebony tailpiece and chinrest appear to be aftermarket. Ships with Protec form fitted case. 2 bows are included, 1-round and 1-octagonal.The octagonal bow "might" be the original. We've seen Duerer Violins of this era go for thousands. This one is a great value.
