Constructed with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Tropical mahogany cherry stained and nitrocellulose lacquer finished back and sides, the new Hummingbird Original blends vintage appointments with today's modern, high-quality build. The neck is made of select mahogany, and features a rounded profile joined at the 14th fret. The Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge add a touch of warmth to the balanced and clear tone of this mahogany and spruce dreadnought. And, you'll love watching your fingers dance over the beautiful mother of pearl parallelogram position inlays. The new Original Hummingbird is outfitted with gold Gotoh Keystone tuners, double antiqued binding, a traditional Hummingbird truss rod cover, a bone nut and saddle, and an LR Baggs active under-saddle acoustic pickup with soundhole volume and tone controls that provides a connection to the outside world in a larger stage setting. No other guitar hums like a Hummingbird.
