HELP! Not sure what this is. I purchased this many years ago and simply never touched it. The pots have date codes of 134808. The pickups are original along with the single line Kluson tuners, sand cast Vibramute tremolo, control knobs, frets and other parts. Someone apparently sanded off the headstock decals but there is no evidence of sanding scratches and it appears to have its original finish on the neck under a blacklight. The body was refinished a long time ago but it is heavily checked. When I pulled the guard it looks like it was probably sunburst when it was new. It looks like the frets are original. The neck is straight and it plays great. Surf tone, awesome. Any help on this guitar will be very helpful as I am no Mosrite expert. The trem arm is missing and it has a thimble in place of the spring. I am hunting a trem arm to fix it up. I see you can purchase decals online for the headstock but Im going to sell it as is. The serial number is on the fingerboard and it is 040X. The parts alone are worth quite a bit but Im not going to tear it apart.
