About this listing
The 2020 60th Anniversary 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS is now in stock! This 2020 limited-edition model commemorates the 60th anniversary of the 1960 Les Paul. True to the spirit of an anniversary model, it thoroughly recreates the transitional changes in specifications that the Les Paul underwent during the single year of 1960, divided into three distinct versions. The model wefve just received is Version 3?a faithful recreation of the gfinal formh of the 1960 Les Paul, featuring the slimmest neck in Les Paul history (Slim Taper), Reflector-style control knobs (with lettering), and double-ring tuners, all of which were adopted during the third quarter (second half) of 1960. In terms of color, it reproduces the appearance of the gDark Bursth?considered particularly rare even among original vintage bursts?and the deep bourbon-colored gradient creates a beautiful and elegant impression. The guitar is equipped with gCustombucker Alnico III (Unpotted)h pickups, which are intentionally left unpotted. This allows the guitarfs natural, woody acoustic tone to be output directly, resulting in a fast attack and ensuring that the dynamics and nuances of your picking are faithfully reproduced through the amplifier. Even when distorted, the sound remains clear, delivering a crisp bite and three-dimensional harmonics. There are faint linear scratches on the body back, but they are not very noticeable due to the VOS finish. The pickguard sticker is still in place, and there are almost no signs of playing?it shows virtually no wear. Additionally, due to aging, the aniline dye from the neck and the back of the body has seeped into the binding areas, allowing you to experience the same kind of aging that occurs on vintage instruments. The neck is in excellent condition, and there is almost no wear on the frets. There are no replaced parts, and all accessories are included. The beautiful, densely packed tiger-stripe figure and elegant coloration are superb, making this a highly recommended piece for collectors!
