The famous, and in many folks’ opinion the most comfiest archtop guitar Gibson ever made, the L-4C is a classic dating back to 1949. It’s the uptown version of the ES-175; same size but with prime features all around. This modern version, with its pair of real-deal Gibson Humbucking pickups, has an ebony (!) fingerboard and bridge (Tune-o-Matic), deeply gold-plated parts all around, those classic Gibson Deluxe tuners, fabulously smooth frets and heart-of-my heart, that wonderful, Impossibly Red finish that only Gibson has ever been able to bring off. This guitar is quite fresh from one end to the other, bought new by someone who unfortunately ran into financial difficulties and trusted me to find an appreciative new home for it.
