Up for sale we have a Mike Lull M4V 4-string electric bass in original Natural finish with non-original soft case. Built in Bellevue, WA in the USA. Mike’s M4V relays a fantastic classic vintage vibe with all the wonderful attributes of a 60's/70's Jazz bass combined with modern active/passive electronics all in a slightly downsized body shape. The bass is 100% original and in excellent used condition showing only light cosmetic wear from normal use, a few small scuffs and scratches but nothing major to note. The bass features a 34" scale length, solid Ash body, Graphite reinforced Maple neck, Birdseye Maple fretboard with black dot fret markers, 21 frets, Hipshot Ultralight tuners, Hipshot Aluminum bridge, Bartolini NTMB 3-Band EQ Preamp and a pair of exceptional sounding Lull/Duncan single coil Jazz pickups. The neck features a comfortable C-shape profile and tapers in mass a bit as you make your way from the upper registers down towards the headstock, similar to a standard Jazz Bass neck. Thickness of the neck measures .82" deep at the first fret and .89" deep at the twelfth fret. The original medium sized frets are present and show minimal play wear, tons of life left. Each instrument is PLEK'd for precision leveling before leaving the factory when new. Width at the (Bone) nut measures 1.5". The bass weighs in at 8 lbs. 7 oz. Overall a fine quality instrument and a joy to play. Includes non-original Road Runner soft case and will be packed with care. Thanks for looking.
