Hard to find, they're always backordered. It never gets old, the Rickenbacker Bass is definitely an iconic instrument, it has a unique tone heard of countless of albums and consistent level of craftsmanship throughout the years. The all Maple construction and neck through body are responsible for the instrument's famous bite and growl. The rosewood fingerboard adds the warmth and harmonic complexity, balancing out the bright high end with powerful, rich bass.
The 4003S comes with two single-coil pickups that deliver the classic Rick bass sound, 3-way selector with 2 tone (With Vintage Tone push/pull) and 2 volume controls. These come with the newer version of the Ric Tailpiece. The 4003S is pretty similar to the regular 4003, but having an unbound body and neck with dot inlays and a conventional single jack output instead of two outputs.
Everything is 100% original and stock. The instrument has been barely used and it's in mint condition, free of any blemishes at all. It's essentially an instrument in new condition that has been played for just a few hours at home.
The bass is currently set very comfortably to play. It comes with its original hard molded case and original unused polish cloth, tags, sticker.
