Made in Japan “2005 History Z1-CFS”!!!

“History” is original brand of Japanese company “Shimamura Music Ltd.” and this brand have been loved by many musicians including Professional!

We conjectured production era by serial number.

3Tone Sunburst, Body: Alder, Neck: Maple. C.F.S(Circle fretting system), GOTOH Magnum Lock.  Very tasteful looks.

There are scratches, replaced pots, replaced condenser, replaced knob, replaced strap-pin, selected knob crack, rusty parts&screws, etc, but it has enough remaining frets!

If you want reasonable price made in Japan quality guitar, it`s highly recommended!

※Company Profile

“Shimamura Music was founded in 1962 by Mototsugu Shimamura and opened its first music school that same year with 48 students. Musical instrument sales were later started for students who had a desire to learn but were unable to practice at home. We have since expanded our business, with most of our new stores opening in major shopping centers throughout Japan. Shimamura Music has become the largest musical instruments retailer in Japan, with annual sales of JPY 35.3 billion*1 (US$313.0 million) and 164 locations*2 nationwide, and the third largest music school operator, after Yamaha and Kawai. We also opened our first overseas store in Beijing in September, 2015.”

※Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.). It was created by them based on an idea to offer better pitch and articulation than conventional guitars and basses. All frets are installed on a fingerboard in slightly curved shapes, so that every string crosses all the frets at 90 degrees, i.e. to offer minimum contact of a string on a fret, and it makes the scale length of every string even, while it actually varies on conventional Straight fretting. (See Fig. 1). The C.F.S. is a solution of fretting on a traditional guitar and bass and it offers clearer articulation and tones which give dimension when you play a chord and also cuts through the mix when you play single notes
