The H8SS is Takamine's Hirade Classical with solid spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides, gloss finish, gold hardware w/case. The H8SS Acoustic Guitar is handcrafted in our pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades.

A sterling example of the luthier’s art, these classical guitars that bear the name of Master Luthier Mass Hirade are still built by hand in our Takamine pro facility in Japan. This guitar features a solid spruce top for powerful lows, shimmering mids and a clear high end. The solid rosewood back and sides enhance the projection and add to the overall beauty of the guitar. These instruments are designed and built to stand beside the finest classical guitars made today.

Takamine classic guitars respect tradition. The fan bracing and body shape deliver a clear tone and a strong voice.
