2006 Martin Custom version of classic 0-16NY concert acoustic guitar, which has been out of regular production for many years. This guitar has the same specifications as the original 0-16NY with the following modifications: Closed Martin tuners instead of open, 1/4 scalloped bracing instead of non-scalloped, and 1-7/8" at nut with oval neck profile instead of the normal vintage V-neck profile. Copies of the draft custom order sheets are attached for reference. The guitar also has an added Fishman under saddle pickup. It has been barely played, and could pass for a new guitar in a shop. A light, responsive guitar, comfortable to play. The action is quite comfortable with regular light strings as it is currently set up, and would be even lower with the traditional lower tension silk and steel strings. As shown is the photos, the saddle is relatively low, but there is still a little room for fine adjustments and some spare bridges are included in the case. This guitar does have an adjustable truss rod. Comes with Martin hardshell case.
