Late 1977/early 1978 Wurlitzer 200A. Fantastic sounding, plays well. All keys work. No cracks in the housing. Original speakers, circuit board, transformer, all unmolested.

Codes on electronics mostly date to 1977. The speaker is the latest of these dates: 749 - "49th week of 1977." So this was probably assembled in late December 1977, or very early 1978.

This unit has not been restored or serviced recently, which is reflected in the price. But it also doesn't require a "restoration." Like most older things, it would benefit from a tune up, but even without that, it is ready to go!

I purchased this Wurli approx 20 years ago and it has been in my studio, and never gigged since.

I have the original sustain pedal cable and connector, but not the sustain pedal - easily purchased after-market. Vintage Vibe makes one even better than the original for $215.

Wooden legs - not the original chrome floppy ones. Also available after-market easily if you want to return to the original look.

One small modification, shown in the photos. On the very left front of the chassis a small, red "speaker on/off" switch has been added. While this is obviously not an original feature, it does not affect playability or tone, and is indeed quite useful. For live gigs for example, if you are using stage monitors, you can turn the speakers off. For recording, when running direct/using headphones, you can turn the speakers off. Useful almost all the time.

Message me for videos - can't get them to load in Reverb for some reason. Grrrr....
