This is a extremely good example of a late 70’s fender Stratocaster!!! It’s the best strat I’ve played!! From ease of playing to how it sounds, so good on every position of the switch!! (Grey bobbin pickups) I’ve had this guitar for a while and it’s been taken extremely good care of for the age! It’s older than I am! It has a lacquer finish and the smell 👃 is just old lacquer smell. It’s a really great guitar and I really hate to sell it. It weighs in the 8.5-9 lbs range which is light for these earlier ash body guitars. Most of them are extremely heavy! This one isn’t light by my expectations but it isn’t heavy for these way heavier examples either. They are just going to be harder and harder to find in examples like this!! It’s basically new old stock condition!! And boy it’s the best strat I’ve ever had the pleasure of own/playing. I guess I’ll put this up for sale!! 😕😳 And give someone else this amazing opportunity!! It really is that good!! These 70’s strats are definitely only going to increase in value and they are a true vintage that has been some what looked over. Especially this one, just look at it!!!! Look at the others of the said year!! This one is basically brand new compared to them!! And a few of them are even asking for more $$$$ Will sell cheaper if you come pick it up with cash. Reverb takes a big chunk of the money there for the price increase. Pickup in Farmington Mo DOES NOT HAVE ORIGINAL Fender CASE. WILL COME and be shipped WITH and in a HARD CASE THO.

I can send videos of it being played and if you want, ill take it apart, show you it’s all original down to knobs and tremolo arm. The guitar itself is in excellent condition. The pick guard has pick scratches. The metal pieces are showing age. I’ve taken pictures of the few problems the guitar might have!! (Clear coat problems/lacquer not sealing/aging correctly)This guitar doesn’t have any dents or gouges on body or headstock!! This guitars finish is in absolutely gorgeous condition for the age. And the grain structure is gorgeous!
I do NOT have original case but will sell with fender hard case for my original asking price. If you negotiate at all and I accept. It will come with crappy hard case. Frets are in great shape and I’ve recently polished them.
