1990 Carvin X220. Black gloss finish. Neck thru body construction. Poplar body, maple neck, ebony fretboard. Has a Carvin branded Kahler Steeler.
I have had this for 20 years, the seller said they were the original owner. I was told the pickups were original, but the colors dont match, so I am not sure. They do have the period correct 4 screw ajustments. M22SD bride, M22V neck.
The frets look very good (It hasnt been played more than 30 minutes in the last 20 years). There is a small scratch between and above the pickups. There is also one near the volume. There are some pick scratches between the pickups. Some light scratches on the back as well. None of these look like they went through the clear coat. I do not see any chips on the horns of the body or the headstock. Some of the black finish has worn off the fine tuners on the kahler.
Weight is 7 pounds 11 ounces.
Comes with an original case, the right latch tab is broken and wont close.
