Classy looking horn. This is in fair basic playing condition as is. I easily test played it up and down save for low B and Bb. Pads are older but for the most part it played nicely and easily up and down. The lowest two notes being hard to get out is typical for an older sax, it likely just needs a little adjustment, but possibly a pad or two. I'm not a tech, just a casual player. Nice, kind of fat sound for an alto to my ears. This will come with it's original case and a more modern made mouthpiece. I was told this might be made in france, possibly by Beaugnier, but assembled in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I do not know if this is so or not. I do know it has a four digit serial number. There is no origin stamp on it anywhere which leads me to believe that at the very least it was assembled in the US, if not manufactured here. But I suppose anything is possible on these older horns.
