Gibson ETG-150 Tenor Arch top hollow body electric guitar. Built in 1961 at the Kalamazoo, Michigan factory. (Serial number 39923) 4 pole P-90 pickup, original nickel tenor trapeze tailpiece and Kluson Deluxe tuners. Original tenor bridge with gold bonnet tone and volume knobs. Comes with the original Gibson case. Plays beautifully up and down the neck. Good overall original condition.
Gibson's only standard issue electric tenor guitar, the ETG-150 was introduced in 1937 and remained in production until 1971. With its fat P-90 pickup and fast 23" scale, the ETG-150 offered a full depth 16" body, bound fingerboard, and specially adapted P-90 pickup, tailpiece and bridge. The laminated body offers superior feedback resistance, and the guitar produces a respectable acoustic tone for playing unplugged.
