Palatino VE-500 3/4 Electric Upright Bass, Sunburst

CONDITION:

Used, but overall Good condition. Everything functions perfectly.  The action is currently lowered for jazz playing.  Currently set up with D'Addario 3/4 Scale Helicore Hybrid Upright Bass Strings.  There is some roadwear, including finish cracks, dings in the lower and upper bout, spruce top, scroll, and where the body meets the neck.  I've put some minor repair work and upkeep into this, but it sounds great and has served me well over the years.  Simply looking to sell it as I am ready to graduate to a fully acoustic upright.  Great for students, artists, and gigging pros at all levels.  Plays well in both Arco and Pizzicato playing styles.  Great tone.  Stand and soft gig bag included.  Fiberglass bow and rosin included, although the bow has some broken hairs and a crack in the tip.  Located in Los Angeles, CA. The black finished metal tailpiece is sturdy and practical. The lightweight endpin offers an infinite range of adjustment with a positive locking mechanism. The VE-500 is absolutely versatile with its active tone and volume controls and a headphone jack with preamp. A durable carrying bag with backpack straps is also included.
