Hello! Thank you for visiting Wagging Tail Music!
I'm selling my DV Mark DV40 212 amplifier. This is the original version of the amplifier introduced in 2010. This is a much better amplifier than the current model. Especially in the looks department!
This is a 37-pound, dual channel, all tube EL34 amplifier with variable power output, switchable to triode mode and has two great sounding 16 Ohm 150-watt neodymium speakers. It has a MOD long spring reverb unit. There is a preamp out jack and amp in jack. The amplifier has an auto biasing system. Everything is stock on this except the reverb tank.
There are various reviews of this amplifier on-line. My favorite review was done by Steve Ouimette (search Steve Ouimette DV40 212). He covers all the features accurately.
The YouTube video below shows Dean Brown using one on stage with the Bill Evans Project (it is sitting on top of his Fender amp). Dean has used this amp on many projects and can be seen using it in other videos. While it's impossible to tell which amp he is using in the video - he has at least three different amps on stage - it's a very nice show. You can find his review of this amp on-line, also.
Have had this for three years and it works very well. The box is in great shape for its age. Includes a generic channel switcher with boost switch and the very rare DVM Controller.
