The Rohde and Schwarz is the predecessor of the famous u23, then modified into the vacuvox. I have owned all three and if you like the Fairchild 660 vibe the this unit is the closest, together with the famous presto compressor, that also geta very close to the 660s. I am talking tone wise, rich, fat and high fidelity.. the design is different. German design in audio has always been my favorite. Neumann, Telefunken, Rohde Schwarz.
