Awesome Kazuo Yairi Alvarez David Crosby DC-1 Virtuoso Model12 Fret, 12 String with OHSC and ALL FACTORY PAPERWORK. Including HAND SIGNED by Kazuo Yairi Warranty Card! It was hand inspected and and approved for the Lifetime Limited Warranty by Kazuo Yairi on July 31, 1995.

This guitar plays and sounds FANTASTIC with no structural issues! Solid Spruce Top with Rosewood Sides and Back! Tone for days!!!

These do not come up for sale very often, the last one I recall for sale was over 5 years ago, from Japan ,and it did not have any original paperwork with Kazuo's own signature.

There is some clouding of the finish as you can see in the pictures in the listing, on the headstock face and on the back. There are several small nicks in the finish on the side of the guitar as shown in the pictures. This is a used guitar and is not cosmetically perfect. This guitar was a St Louis Music display/demo model (there is a 75th Anniversary Display Tag with the guitar paperwork), I bought is used 20 some years ago in the condition it is in and used it primarily at home and played out with it a handful of occasions for covering CSN/Y tunes, which it nails the 12 string tone for! (a Neumann KM-184 works really well to capture the sound of this guitar)

One very interesting note on one piece of the paperwork for this guitar the model is listed as a DC1 with the serial number that matches the tag inside the guitar (and the rest of the paperwork) but it says "6 STRING ACOUSTIC" which obviously it is a Crosby 12 String Virtuoso model.

The combination on the case lock has never been set, you can set your own! Factory instruction paperwork included.
