G&L L-2000 Limited Edition Bad Ass Bass Players #6 2007 - Blackburst

For your consideration, we present a rare variation of a classic G&L bass.

This L-2000 was born in 2007 and was a limited edition produced specifically for BadAssBassPlayers.com. This short run of the L-2000 bears the BABP logo on the headstock, a handsome glossy Blackburst finish, and an additional setting to select the outer single coils of the humbuckers. The transparent Blackburst finish shows off distinctive swirls in the Swamp Ash body, front and reverse, with some areas of orange breaking through. The Maple neck is topped with a spartan and equally-dark Ebony fingerboard, bearing no face markers and only side-dots. According to some internet research, this bass's neck shows measurements in between the "#7" and "#8" styles of neck from G&L.: first fret neck depth .820, 12th fret neck depth at .940, with a nut width of 1 1/2" and a 12" radius. The headstock is gloss black with a white G&L logo and the addition of the BadAssBassPlayers.com "flaming-heart-&-bass" logo. This instrument is loaded with player-centric options and is sure to be a prized oddity in your G&L collection.

This Bass is in Very-Good condition, showing signs of light wear. There is a finish check on the edge of the headstock. There is a light dent on the edge of the elbow contour. There are light scratches on the front and rear, most of which are only visible when held to the light. There are heavier scratches on the rear of the guitar in the area of the neck bolts. There is a scuff on the face of the headstock near the BABP logo and one chip lost in the finish on top of the BABP logo. There is a small impression on the rear of the neck in the area of the 8th fret. This package is complete with a G&L hard case, original G&L certificate, and accompanying original paperwork.
