Price DROP: Fender Showmaster FMT 2007 "Sunburst"

If you know anything about Showmasters, you know that they are outstanding instruments; 24 frets, Mahogany body+neck, Maple veneer top, unparalleled upper-fret access, and INCREDIBLE tone. I'm selling this one purely to thin the herd. Hate to get rid of it as it just got a professional setup and fret leveling/polishing from L.A.Guitars--it plays beautifully and the Seymour Duncan pickups are incredible, with a full palette of diverse tones from the 5-position switch offering coil tapping and out-of-phase. Easily matches or outplays any Strat you've ever heard. Also has GraphTech string trees to reduce drag and improve tuning stability, and fresh black chrome knobs which match the bridge.

There is one cosmetic flaw--a repaired chip/crack near the one tremolo studs.This happened when I removed the stock tremolo which had worn out its ability to hold a tremolo arm securely. The lacquer never actually "chipped"; it simply "lifted". This has been heated, glued, and polished. To make sure there was no problem with the stud, the stud was professionally removed, the hole re-filled with a glued dowel, re-drilled and epoxied securely. I opted to replace it with a better, beefier Hipshot tremolo. I absolutely attest to and stand by the playability and stability of this fine instrument. The new bridge improves the tone considerably over what was already a superb guitar. Korean made, some very light scratching in a few places but overall 95% out of 100 shiny finish.Comes with a Fender hardshell case which has some damage from previous owner; I don't know how it was incurred.
