Mosrite Ventures Mark I 1966 in Metallic Red w/OHSC

This guitar is in overall very good condition. The neck is straight, the Fretless Wonder frets show moderate wear. The electronics function properly and quietly. The body has the blemishes typically found on a vintage guitar of this age. There are small dings/dents across most of the body. There are scuffs/scratches throughout. There are a few small dings on the back of the neck and the hardware shows some signs of wear. The case is in overall good shape. The latches and hinges are all present and functioning. The handle is missing. There are some small scuffs and snags in the tolex. Please keep in mind this guitar is over 50 years old when considering the physical condition. Released as the result of a collaboration between Mosrite and surf-rock group The Ventures, the Mosrite Ventures electric guitar was a short-lived, funky child of the '60s. High-gain pickups and a super slim neck, as well as a unique tremolo system, characterize the Ventures. Some time between late 1965 and early 1966 the Mosley Vibrato was introduced on the Ventures model. The guitar features the truss rod adjustment in the heel and an 8 screw pickguard which would date it to the first half of 1966.
