Unique booster with 12 tone selection circuits VA is a MOSFET booster. The unit is designed to work anywhere in the signal chain. The mid-scoop EQ's 6-position varitone circuitry, along with depth-switchable switches, offers 12 easy tone selections. VA isn't a perfect clean boost, but it does provide a balanced boost sound.
Even if you set the boost level to unity, you can still get a change in the tone character. Also, in the case of full boost, it adds a strong punch to the sound. Maximum boost level is 30dB. The sound is very sharp, and the sound image is finished with a three-dimensional effect.
