This is a beautiful pearloid lap steel amp from the 40s, basically a top-loaded variant of the popular Varsity model, it has that nice, early break up into a gnarly, Champ-like growl. Point-to-point, all original (apart from a couple of caps), down to the 8 inch Alnico speaker. There is slight cracking on the cabinet, the original leather handle was replaced with something most robust some time ago, it\'s in pretty good condition given it\'s age. Great bedroom amp for rock \'n\' roll!
Runs on US voltage, requires step down transformer to work in UK & Europe.
