A great example of what Ovation was doing with electric guitars in the 70s and 80s. Here's an absolutely solid example of the Preacher. Mahogany body with walnut gunstock finish, which is a somewhat rare finish. 24 frets. 2 Ovation humbuckers and 2 inputs (mono and stereo).
There is regular playwear, with most of the fretwear on the first 5 frets. There is a crack in the pickguard between the bridge pickup and the bridge. There is a little buckle rash on back and a normal amount of dings considering its age. No major damage or repairs. Both pickups work fine and sound great individually. But the pickup selector does not produce sound in the middle position. My thought is the previous owner wired it this way as a kill switch. And all tone/volume knobs work for the bridge and neck pickups individually. Truss rod adjusts both directions. Action is great. No case but it will ship in a basic gigbag.
