Fender Elite Stratocaster 1983 Transparent Red Burst

If you're a King's X fan, this is the guitar you've been looking for. Red, just like Ty Tabor's. It's got that sound - but it's a temperamental tone on the noisy side at high gains. Not sure if the pickups are supposed to sound like that or if it's just this guitar. 

Overall condition is really good but with a handful of notable scratches and dents, as shown in the closeups. A long-ish scar behind the bridge is the most noticeable. But otherwise the finish is still very clean. This guitar hasn't seen a lot of gigging for its age.

The fingerboard is a lot wider than a normal strat; almost like a classical guitar. If you've got big hands, this guitar is for you. 

I think this is a 1983 model. Serial numbering data is hard to find for the Elites; ever since Fender decided to re-use the word "elite" for some recent models it's so much harder to Google.

I don't have a case for it, so it ships in a standard gig bag. Also comes with two of the very unique Elite trem bars.
