About This Listing
King of the flat tops for a reason. Best guitar I’ve ever played, just have to many and have had it long enough it’s time for someone else to cherish it.
2000 Gibson SJ-200
Always kept in case, never gigged. Immaculate condition for the age! Pickguard has less then normal wear then most SJs. Has one tiny “dent” on lower front of body but is hard to see. Can plug into an amp but doesn’t have any control knobs on it.
Has elixir custom light strings, which combines the heavy and light strings with a hybrid g string to bring out the lows these jumbos are know for, while giving you the highs of a lighter set. Best of both worlds and man does she sound amazing!
Undoubtedly one of Gibson's most iconic, recognized acoustic guitars, the Jumbo flattop Gibson J-200 acoustic guitar is often known as "The King of Flattops." Enormous in both size and tone, the Gibson J-200 is most noticeable due to its various aesthetic oddities, from a mustache bridge to its pineapple-style inlays. Its fashionable looks and giant sound brought it to the attention of players like Pete Townshend and Elvis Presley.
