Successor to the legendary Percuter . A clever feature is the device as a MIDI sound expander, Drum Brain with 6 Trigger Inputs for Pads and as a drum to midi interface.
5 of the 6 channels are provided with a modular bay in which the Dynacord sound modules Percuters can be used. 6. The channel provides such as the 5 other channels 4 fixed sounds or a pure midi output. The last option makes the device interesting if other MIDI tone generator to be controlled with connected pads.
100 memory locations allow various variations of sounds or issued midi note numbers per channel. Each channel still has a 7 segment LED display that indicates the currently selected sound and volume control, its value is implemented digitally and saved.
A 2 digit 7 segment display makes the visual connection to the outside world, supported by 5 status LEDs. Langts for programming. The power button and the headphone jack on the front page, as well as an overall volume control complete the device.
Triangular LEDs on the cartridge slots indicate a trigger pulse. With 6 buttons can enjoy the sounds that you trigger manually, not in edit mode.
The programming is performed by the instructions on the cover without the manual. The whole operation is quite simple and is great fun.

The back houses the Midi triumvirate, a Din socket for connection of a remote pads, a multi-trigger connector (Sub-D) might fit the Percuter / Rhythm Stick / Big Brain could.
