SnackBus: Moog Case Power ( Micro Befaco LunchBus )

I built this SnackBus designed by Coriolis Instruments. It’s a minified version of Befaco’s LunchBus that will fit inside your surplus Moog DFAM / Mother 32 case! Note: this does not include the case, just put it in the picture for representation.


Power up to 8 modules in the case without having to use up HP for a power supply.
It has pins on the board that connect directly to the mother 32 case's internal power jack. However, if you wanted to use this in a DIY or other case, I could swap the pins out for a standard 12v power jack.

The DKE15A-12 converter used is capable of delivering 625mA on both +12V and -12V (a total of 1250mA). When it does so, it required 1.7A @12V (20.4W) from the wall-wart.

Note that the Moog adapter, supplied with the Mother-32 and DFAM, will only put out 1A @12V. This means that if you use this adapter, the SnackBus will only be able to output 350mA on both rails. 
Our recommendation: do not exceed 300mA power draw on either rails when using the M
oog-supplied adapter with the SnackBus. Otherwise buy a beefier adapter.
