This long-selling model has been on the market since 1983, and has been constantly evolving.
When it was first released, this guitar had a strong image of being used by vocalists because of its regular spec of 1P.U and maple fretboard, but in recent years, 2P.U and rose fretboard have been in high demand, and this model has become a favorite not only for vocalists but also for lead guitarists with its distinctive fat mid tone. Also, the paint job was from poly coating, but a lacquer finish was adopted to create a vintage-like atmosphere and sound.
The combination of detachable construction and P-90s produced a fat, yet crisp sound that has created many fans. The 22 frets, low action setup, and precision integration of the brim and fretboard make this guitar the quintessential example of Moon/PGM's custom guitars.
The lightweight mahogany body is also a recent Reggae Master.
