Bose 301 Series II, Lovingly Restored

Bose Direct/Reflecting home loudspeaker were some of the most sought-after hi-fi purchases of the 70's, 80's and 90's. They have dual tweeters that face both front and sides, for a more enveloping, 3D listening experience. While I wouldn't use these as studio monitors, they are very good for playback, particularly when used with a subwoofer, crossed at about 70Hz. Although considered "bookshelf" loudspeakers, they should be placed with the tweeters out, and within a few feet of the corners of your room. Best to experiment.

It's important to note that both woofers have been re-foamed--using the proper procedure, which includes shimming, so the cones rest at neutral. You will see a few minor scratches, and a touch of pink paint from a previous owner. Get ready to have hours of great listening with these Bose loudspeakers.
