Historic pre-WWII 6V6 push pull amp - very cool

Unknown manufacturer.

Similar to a Gibson Eh-150 interstage transformer circuit but different preamp tubes

Very cool interstage transformer drives 6v6 push-pull (no phase inverter tubes)

6Sj7, 6SN7, (2) 6V6, 5Y3

Two inputs.

1) Into 6sj7 then to 6sn7 then to interstage transformer to 6v6 output (High volume, clean then dirty)

2) Bypasses 6SJ7 in to 6SN7 then to interstage transformer to 6v6 output (low volume, clean)

2 volume controls

1/4" output jack

This amp has a really nice, sweet sound. I am tempted to keep it becuase its so cool but I have too many amps and its just collecting dust.

All new F&T caps, Jupiter and Orange drop coupling caps, new resistors etc.,

Will ship with all new tubes. DM for brands etc.

I assume its a 4ohm output but I have been playing through an 8 ohm Celestion Vintage 30 /12 and its sounds amazing.

I will provide a schematic on request.

Make offer.
