Fender Bassman Silverface "Drip Edge" 2-Channel 50-Watt Guitar Amp Head 1968-1969   Here is a vintage Fender Bassman Silverface amp head up for sale. Perfect for that iconic clean tone from the turn of the decade, this amp head works amazingly with a lot and is incredibly versatile, able to play well with a lot of other equipment. It has some minor scratches, wear, and a few tears in the tolex as you can see in the photos, but considering its age, it's in very good condition and is looking for a new home!   We have play tested it and it sounds great. All of the parts look original except the power cord. It has J & J power tubes which are not original but which work great.  The person who sold it to us said he had the amp completely gone over less than 2 years ago. It looks good, smells good (no smoke or beer smell) and sounds great. It is a wonderful old head.       NOTE: WE do have the cabinet for this in the store, but the cost of shipping it is probably about what the cabinet is worth so it is not on this listing. Howver, if you are near Kansas City and you are able to pick it up when you buy it, then we can sell you the cabinet with it at a great price.
