Overview: This Drip Edge Bassman head by Fender came to us in very good condition. This listing is for the amplifier only.
Cosmetics: Aging and wear corresponding with it's age (54 years) present. No major cosmetic damage. Tolex is in nice shape and minimal oxidation on the hardware.
Electronics: Cleaned, tubes tested, and fully functional. This amp has been almost entirely re-capped with Sprague capacitors in the tone section and F&T for the main electrolytic power supply. The circuit is closest to the AA165 layout but may have been changed whenever the re-cap was done. All work was clean, neat and correct. Amp is gig-ready and sounds fantastic.
