Benge 165 Conversion

This was a project that turned out great. I took a Benge 165 F that felt very stuffy to play and made it a straight horn. Feels great and open now. Left trigger in place so the thumb has a nice place to rest. I left some of the tubing to act as bracing and counter weight. Hand slide is in fantastic shape. Smooth like glass to play. I used epoxy for the custom work. It is neat and tight. But that is the black you see in photos. .547 bore 8.5 inch bell comes with usable case. Great horn for a large bore on the cheap, a backup or first large horn. Priced low cause although it works great it is not pro custom work with solder. Thank you.
