Martin GPC-16E

I'm selling my brand new Martin GPC-16e with Sitka Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides. The GPC cutaway is Martin's answer to Taylor playability paired with Martin's unique and inimitable sound. The Grand Performance body weighs-in between the OM and the Dreadnought: its 000 shape is larger than the OM's but smaller than the D, making it Martin's most versatile size. It executes fingerstyle beautifully, but can also take a beating. This model has rosewood back and sides which give it a deeper, more complex tone than its woodier cousin made with mahogany. Note that this 2022 model also has a Sitka Spruce top--Martin has recently switched the label on all Sitka Spruce tops to simply "Spruce," meaning that at the moment (or from now on), these can be made with either Sitka or Lutz spruce (no designation as to which comes with which guitar).

This guitar has only seen two or so hours of playing tops and is being sold at $500 off what you'd pay for at stores with tax--it's a beautiful guitar and plays like a breeze, but I simply don't have room for it in my collection right now.

Equipped with Fishman's new Matrix VT Enhance NT2 electronics that creates a rich sound without adding boominess, this is a sweet gigging Martin that doesn't sacrifice on natural acoustic sound or easy playability.
