Here we have a 2003 model Martin D28CWB Clarence White Brazilian Limited Edition that's no wannabe Bluegrass instrument - this is the real deal! #149 of a limited edition of 150 guitars. The next to last one, that's really cool. This is a spectacular guitar. It's special edition copy of White's modified '35 D-28, featuring an Adirondack spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and a 14-fret mahogany neck. Other features include a large soundhole, dalmatian pickguard, and open gear Waverly tuners with butterbean buttons. It's very clean and nice, showing very little play wear. The frets are in near mint condition. The neck is straight and true. The action is low with no buzzing. The bridge has been professionally and cleanly reglued. There's a small split repair on the back near the neck block center seam. A K&K pickup and strap button has been installed This has a phenomenal sound. It's "BIG", that's the best way to describe it. Its tone is powerful and punchy but also very open and with great clarity. Comes with original hard case.
