This listing is for a Galaxy Mara "Tracy Fretless Bass". In working for 2 major guitar manufacturers and owning a custom build shop I have made hundreds of guitars and basses and this particular one is certainly in the top 3 ever. I've rented it to studios who have tagged it "Butter", "Velvet" and other flattering adjectives. It has an impossibly thin jazz profile neck that is straight with zero buzzing all the way up the fretboard. Its ridiculously easy and encouraging to play.
The body is one piece tour-de-force carved Western Red Cedar. It has been specially treated to enhance the wood grain. Its amazing just to touch. I concocted a special stain that even includes rust, complimenting the 150 year old body wood. It is carved to the extreme, reminiscent of an old world violin.
If you enjoy playing fretless and value unique instruments, this is the bass for you. It is custom in every phase of its creation. As a rock guitar player, I dont do it justice. The only reason I am offering it for sale is I am hoping someone can use it to create new music.
