Vintage 1968 Gibson ES-175D in stunning original sunburst finish!

The Gibson ES-175D is an iconic guitar and this model was used by many jazz legends from Wes Montgomery to Herb Ellis, Joe Pass, Jim Hall and many others they can simply deliver the goods when it comes to vintage jazz tone.   They can also be driven into serious rock or blues territory.

This example is a great option for the player or collector.   Long unavailable vintage tone woods including Brazilian Rosewood, Honduran Mahogany and Flamed Michigan maple contribute to the fantastic tone of this ES-175.   Player priced at what you'd expect to pay for a custom shop reissue, this guitar will blow any modern archtop out of the water in looks, feel and especially warm woody vintage tone.

This fantastic 175 was owned by a player, and like many guitars that lived through hundreds, if not thousands of gigs, it has some mods.  It's very solid and ready to play - but is priced according to these changes - please read below.

Very comfortable rounded medium C neck profile - 1968 was a KILLER year for Gibson necks.
Serial number 512480 dates this to early/mid 1968
Original frets have some wear but still play quite well!
