For sale is an archtop guitar built by Ric McCurdy in 1999 for New York City jazz guitarist John Zweig. It is in near mint condition and comes with a brand new Ameritage hardshell case which is quite heavy but fits the guitar perfectly. Body is 17 inches and fully carved with a glossy black finish and flamed maple bindings. It has a slightly wider neck width than normal. It boasts one Humbucker magnetic pickup (that can be split by pulling out the volume knob), and a separate piezo pickup system under the bridge with its own separate control panel, featuring discreet Blend, Treble, and Bass controls (see photos). The scale length is 25 1/4". This McCurdy archtop has interior sound posts connecting the top to the back, which helps to eliminate feedback. It features stereo outputs - plug one output into amplifier #1 and the other output into amplifier #2. You can create the most interesting tones with this very unique guitar. The guitar is currently in Florida at a friend's house. Shipping to USA48 only. Will be well-packed and shipped from Clermont, FLorida (34711) with FedEx or UPS Ground.
