A very unusual and cool bass from Warwick's Golden Era. It has great tone and playability.
The bass has the original wenge neck with serial number, but the fretboard was replaced with ebony and some delightfully low-profile frets by a previous owner. It plays beautifully with low action and no buzzing. It's not a mod I would have made, but after playing it I would never order a bass with normal sized frets again--the thin ones really are an improvement. I have included a picture of Hans Peter Wilfer's email reply to my serial number inquiry.
This bass shows some moderate wear and tear including nicks and dings as shown in the pictures. I'm happy to add pictures on request if you let me know what you're looking for.
This bass is sold as-is with returns not accepted. But if it arrives in a condition other than shown here, I will make it right. I can almost always ship within 24 hours.
