I bought this guitar new from Sweetwater in July 2020, as a backup to my identical main guitar. I played it about ten hours to be sure it was good, then stored it with acoustic guitars in a humidity-controlled room. It is in mint condition except for the neck is a bit glossy from playing it a bit, and there are two small blemishes on the back of guitar edge near the rear straplock, see photos. It looks like the wood was worn in a couple of roughly 1/3" spots, then covered with touch-up paint before I received the new product (I negotiated a "demo" discount, which I'm passing on in the current pricing). Otherwise, the finish is impeccable. Some plastic parts look scratched in the photos, but that is the plastic protective film still in place (I presume it is like new under the film). The case also looks excellent, with a couple of minor scuffs compared to brand new.
Note: I insist on using the Reverb shipping/protection program that includes signature on delivery. If you don't have a person at your shipping address, please check that there is a nearby UPS store or other facility where your package could be held for pickup at your convenience.
Please feel free to write me with any questions at any time during the process.
Guitar weight is just over 7 pounds--being at least a pound or two lighter, having a slightly shorter reach to the frets (because of the 22 fret ergonomics), straplocks and locking tuners were a few of the benefits compared to my EC1000 series version.
