This is really Cool. You are looking at a 2022 Fender American Professional II Telecaster Electric Guitar. I’ve long been impressed with the feel and overall quality of Fender’s American Professional II series. Many players would say they rival the playability and tone of the much more expensive Custom Shop guitars. Fender's newest American Professional II series have even more improvements.
Rolled fingerboard edges, thinner finishes and upgraded hardware are the trademarks of Fender's newest American Pro's. Good specs and attention to detail equal a great guitar. The body is alder for good tone. The Deep "C" shaped maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius Rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. A duo of V-Mod II single coils are hooked to a 3 way switch for classic tones. The string through bridge features a brass plate and bullet saddles for improved tone and sustain. Sealed tuners keep it rock solid. This example is finished in very cool and Iconic Mercury Finish and is set off by a 3-ply Black pickguard and chrome hardware. A great looking guitar and a solid value!
The American Pro II series is made to be played. The narrow tall frets and flat radius mean easy playability and bends. The neck is straight on this one and the frets are good. The pickups deliver a variety of tones. Everything works as it should. This is a clean used guitar that has seen little use. It shows very light playwear. Still has the plastic on the pickguard.
I get a lot of guitars in stock and the American Professional II series has long been one of my favorites. Great value and performance. The newest American Pro II's are some of the finest guitars Fender has made outside of the Custom Shop. A new American Pro II will cost you $1699 in the superstores. Save some cash.
