I bought this as a paddle headstock, veneered the front and back, cut it into a shape *similar to*, but not the same as a popular headstock. This headstock shape is a little slimmer and the strings are straighter. The tuner holes are 10mm and fit Gotoh and Grover (tested!).
I used this neck for a week and decided I like fatter necks with giant frets.
This is a beautiful neck! The rosewood grain is straight and lovely.
There are some light wear and the headstock could use a little sanding or reshaping if you prefer.
The EVO Gold frets are smooth and pretty!
In my opinion, they sound like nickel frets, but are slick like stainless.

This neck currently has an oil finish.
Truss rod cover, logo, and truss rod tool included. Neck heel is drilled for standard 4 bolt, Fender Deluxe contoured plate, and the import contoured plate.
