Vintage 1960s Reel to Reel Tape Recorder Akai X-100D, Not Working

This is the Akai X-100D Reel to Reel Tape Recorder from 1965. Made in Japan, this is a classic piece of recording equipment from the 1960s.

I'm selling this item as NOT WORKING. When it is plugged in, it does not power on. It may be just the fuse, plug or something more technical, but alas I'm not qualified to say. All of the knobs and switches and moving parts seem to turn, or click back and forth, fine (by hand). I imagine a qualified technician would probably get this going in no time. Or just as it is, it makes a fabulous retro centerpiece and is sure to be the talk of any room it finds itself in.

It measures 13 3/8" width x 14" height x 7 3/8" depth.

It weighs a heavy 27lbs 10oz!! (That's some serious old school audio electronics contained in its body!).
