Selling an Akai MPC 3000 previously owned by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis of Flytetyme Productions. Unit has been tested and works well — I've made a few beats on it.
The MPC is outfitted with a zip drive and comes with several extra disks. I've noticed at least one of the extra discs has some files/samples from an old Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis session.
The LCD appears to be the original — it's in good shape, but not as bright as the new aftermarket LED replacements. There is some cosmetic wear on the arm rests, and a few minor scratches, but nothing major. Overall, a great looking unit. And a little piece of history.
