Here is a rare Opaque Black AXIS from '97 that's an absolute Stage King (not a Case Queen) and has been completely blacked out with all new components, along with some personal tributes to EVH!!


BODY & NECK

• The Opaque Black finish will show light scratches and small dings in the clear coat easier than other guitars, but polishes nicely.
• There are some noticeable chips in the paint along the edges of the back.  (See Photos)
• I love the neck on this guitar!! After 25 years, it's now SO perfectly broken-in and still has plenty of fret life.

• Original Opaque Black with Cream Pickguard is a rare combination that I believe was only available in 1997 and '98. The original pickguard has been replaced with a Matte Black Pickguard that was custom ordered from EBMM's supplier, Pickguard Planet.
