Built in 2010, this amazing PRS Limited Edition Wood Library Custom 24 is just 1 of 46 ever made.  It's a fine testament to the quality that PRS is known for.  It features a beautiful, artist-grade flame maple top hand-selected for this run of guitars, a resonant African mahogany body with gorgeous binding.  The color is Solano Burst, rarely seen on PRS guitars.  It shows the flames perfectly with the thin nitro finish.

The neck is fiddleback mahogany with the Standard Carve, which is extremely comfortable, measuring .880" at the 1st fret and .970" at the 12th fret.  Not too thick, not too thin....just right.  The fretboard is dark Asian Rosewood (Dalbergia lanceloria - usually reserved for Private Stock guitars only) and is adorned with old school bird inlays (mother of pear).  There is plenty of life left in the frets, and it has a smooth, player-friendly feel.  The neck is topped off with PRS Phase II locking tuners. The guitar is loaded with PRS 59/09 humbuckers, has McCarty switching (3 way toggle, master volume and tone, and coil splitting), and straight up sounds amazing.  You get the thickness as well as the clarity that PRS guitars like this are known for, with a very versatile balance.
The guitar is in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  There are some finish scratches, nothing deep, and that's about it - it's super clean.  This is a rare bird and sure to go fast.  It's 1 of only 46, with wood hand-selected by Paul Reed Smith himself.  It's a special guitar, and a great addition to any collection.
